Carrie Underwood Welcomes a Furry New Family Member at Her Farm..be
Carrie Underwood’s Tennessee farm just got a little cuter! The country music superstar and American Idol judge shared some heartwarming news on Wednesday (April 2): the very first lamb was born on her property the day before.
“Surprise! We had our first little lamb born at the farm yesterday!” Underwood posted on her Instagram Stories, adding that the baby is “a cutie!” She wasn’t exaggerating — the little lamb already looks picture-perfect and is up on all four legs, sticking close to its proud mama for comfort. The gender of the newborn hasn’t been revealed yet.
Carrie, already mom to sons Isaiah (10) and Jacob (6), has a farm full of animals who know her as “Mom,” too. When she’s not lighting up Las Vegas stages or judging hopeful singers on Idol, she’s hands-on with life on the farm — feeding sheep, caring for chickens, and raising chicks.
Now she’s adding “lamb mom” to her resume.
Despite her packed schedule, Carrie still finds time for a little romance. She and husband Mike Fisher recently enjoyed a night out at the Grand Ole Opry’s 100th birthday celebration in Nashville on March 19. Carrie was glowing on the red carpet and fangirled hard when country legend Alan Jackson performed a rare live set.
At one point, she caught a guitar pick he tossed into the crowd and proudly held it up to the camera with a huge smile: “That’s Alan Jackson!” she beamed.
She also honored another country icon that evening, taking the stage to perform two songs for Randy Travis.
Up next for Carrie? American Idol’s Hollywood Week, which kicks off a busy stretch as the show moves to two nights a week (Sundays and Mondays at 8PM ET on ABC).
One thing’s for sure — whether she’s onstage, at the judges’ table, or out in the pasture with her newest lamb, Carrie Underwood does it all with heart.Am a Public health specialists, trained professionals who’s focus is on developing conditions where people can be healthy.
