New picture of King Charles raises concerns about his health
King Charles is still undergoing cancer treatment, but even so, he has no plans on slowing down. The monarch has continued his royal duties, both domestically and abroad. And just this week, he welcomed French President Emmanuel Macron for a state visit. As health scares surrounding Charles continue, a new picture raises concerns even further.

Kingย Charlesย was diagnosed with cancer in January last year and has since undergone cancer treatment.
Even though he has taken the time to rest after undergoing treatment, Charles wonโt let that get in the way of his work.
Itโs rare for members of the Royal Family to open up about their health. However, being open to the public in a world where a Royal Family might seem excessive to many can only be a good thing.
Charles is known for wanting to modernize the royals, while he harbors hopes that the younger generation, led byย Prince Williamย andย Kate Middleton, will do the same. What that will mean for the Royal Family moving forward remains unclear at this time.
Still, the royalsโ beginning to speak openly about their health issues has led us into โuncharted waters,โ royal expert and author Richard Eden toldย Express. Charles is the first-ever monarch to acknowledge having cancer publicly, and as Eden points out, โWhen his grandfather George VI had cancer, he wasnโt even told himself.โ
โWe have our Monarch, our head of state, undergoing this extensive cancer treatment,โ Eden said. โClearly, weโre in uncharted watersโฆ but if he needs to visit hospital because heโs feeling a bit under the weather from treatment, which is quite understandable, people do start to worry and panic a bit.โ
King Charles cancer
While Charles has addressed his cancer briefly a few times, he has largely kept it private, as he is entitled to do. Thatโs until a few months ago, when, ahead of an event celebrating the work of community-based cancer care projects in the UK, he decided to open up about it.
โEach diagnosis, each new case, will be a daunting and at times frightening experience for those individuals and their loved ones. But as one among those statistics myself, I can vouch for the fact that it can also be an experience that brings into sharp focus the very best of humanity,โ Charles said.
โIt has certainly given me an even deeper appreciation of the extraordinary work undertaken by the remarkable organisations and individuals gathered here this evening, many of whom I have known, visited and supported over the years. And it has reinforced what I have long observed during these visits โ that the darkest moments of illness can be illuminated by the greatest compassion.ย โ
There have been shocking reports about King Charlesโ cancer being incurable. Royal insider Camilla Tonminey claimed, โthe talk now is that he may die โwithโ cancer, but not โofโ cancer following a rigorous treatment program.โ
Fears for King Charles health increase after he appears with bloodshot eye
Now, a new picture has left fans worried. As the king met with French President Emmanuel Macron on Wednesday for a state visit, his eyes left fans more concerned about his health.
King Charles welcomed Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte, at Windsor Castle together withย Queen Camilla. However, while he smiled and greeted Macron, Charlesโs right eye appeared visibly bloodshot. Fans quickly reacted to the latest picture of Charles having a bloodshot eye. On social media, some responded with concern.
โThis is horrifying,โ one person wrote of Charles, while another said, โIt looks awful,โ according toย Sky News.
A third user explained, โI have had this happen to me a few times. It didnโt hurt, but it was shocking to wake up to.โ
So what can it mean? As per theย Mayo Clinic, broken blood vessels, also known as โsubconjunctival hemorrhage,โ are usually harmless. It can be compared to having a bruise on your skin.
The Mayo Clinic reported that broken blood vessels can be caused by a โstrong sneeze or cough,โ and although it may look alarming or scary, they usually disappear within one to two weeks.
The king is dealing โincredibly wellโ with cancer
Even though King Charles will get some time off this summer to rest, a source told theย Telegraphย that he is determined to continue his royal duties. The aide said Charles is dealing โincredibly wellโ with cancer.
โThe thing you learn about this illness is that you just manage it and thatโs what he does. Medical science has made incredible advances and I genuinely see no difference in him. As long as you just do what the doctors say, just live your life as normal as possibleโฆ thatโs exactly what he is doing,โ the source continued.
