Tarek El Moussa Grilled Christina Haack’s New Man on Double Date After Joking He Should ‘Screen’ Her Partners

Tarek El Moussa is grilling his ex-wife’s new man!

On Weds. Feb. 12, the Flip Off star, 43, shared a photo from a double date with his wife  Heather Rae El Moussa, his ex-wife Christina Haack, and Christina’s new boyfriend, businessman Christopher Larocca.

“First round of interviews,” Tarek wrote in the caption of his Feb. 12 Instagram post shared jointly with Christina, 41, and Heather, 37. He also added a green check mark emoji, indicating that Larocca seemingly passed his test.

Alongside the caption, Tarek included a photo of the group seated at a table overlooking the water at Nobu in Newport Beach, Calif.

In the snap, Christina has her hand placed on Larcca’s shoulder while his hand rests on her knee. Heather and Tarek can also be seen cozying up on the other side of the table as they lean into each other.

Christina chimed in in the comments, “‘2 man’ as Taylor says… ,” referring to her and Tarek’s 14-year-old daughter. The exes also share a 9-year-old son named Brayden.

The foursome were spotted greeting each other ahead of their date night on Feb. 11, PEOPLE previously reported. Christina and Larocca arrived to dinner in a white and gold Ferrari, according to a witness.

The group’s outing comes after Tarek and Heather joked to Access Hollywood in December that they need to screen all of Christina’s future partners following her July 2024 split from her third husband Josh Hall.

“We just talked about that, actually, that we should screen all of the next guys, so I feel like we’d be good judges,” Heather said at the time, adding, “We are up for the challenge.”

In addition to Tarek and Josh, Christina was also married to her second ex-husband, Ant Anstead, from 2018 to 2020. She shares 5-year-old son Hudson with the British TV host and automotive expert.

PEOPLE confirmed in January that Christina was dating Larocca six months after her highly-publicized breakup with Josh. While it’s not clear how they met, their romance had seemingly been going on for at least four months before it was made public, as the pair were reportedly spotted at a Ferrari event in Italy together in October.

Earlier in February, Christina finally hard-launched her romance by sharing a photo of her sitting on Larocca’s lap as the pair traveled on a private jet. She captioned the series of snaps from their journey: “Some plane flights must be hard posted.”

Around the same time, Josh debuted his new relationship with model Stephanie Gabrys.

A source told PEOPLE on Jan. 10 that the Tennessee-based real estate professional was seeing someone new, and that she “has been there for Josh” as he navigates his ongoing divorce.
