‘Pioneer Woman’ Ree Drummond announces she’s going to be a grandmother
Ree Drummond has a new title to add to her resume!
Alongside author, blogger, cookbook writer, and television personality, the Pioneer Woman can now add grandmother.
Drummond made the announcement Sunday on her blog.
Alex Drummond Scott, Drummond eldest’s child, and her husband Mauricio Scott, took to Instagram Sunday to share the happy news.
“We can’t wait to meet you, little one. Baby Scott joining the party this winter!” Alex wrote in the caption. “Thank you Lord for this precious gift ”
“Beyond happy for you two!! (And for the whole family!) Love you, Alex and Mauricio!” Ree wrote on her daughter’s post.
The Pioneer Woman then took to her blog to announce the news to her followers.
“Oh my gosh. Alex is pregnant! My first baby is having her first baby. My child is going to have a child.”
Ree wrote that since learning the news that her daughter was pregnant a few things have changed in the Drummond household.
“I’m getting back on the rowing machine so I can be a cool, hip, and fit granny,” she wrote. “I’m getting started back with Pilates so I can be a limber, stretchy, and strong granny.”
She also joked she planned to buy a “bright red Trans-Am” so she could be a “young, awesome, and cool granny.”
As the family continues to soak up the good news, Ree wrote they have “no idea what being grandparents will look like or how much it will change our lives.”
“I will probably watch less Bravo, maybe? (Maybe not.)”
Congratulations to Ree Drummond and her family! Welcoming a baby is so exciting.
