Jennifer Lopez is a proud mom!
On Saturday, Feb. 22, the singer and actress, 55, celebrated her twins Maximilian “Max” David Muniz and Emme Maribel Muniz’s 17th birthday with a sweet video tribute on Instagram.
“Seventeen. I love you beyond forever ,” Lopez captioned the post.
The video contains photos and videos of the family from throughout the years. A few of the moments included in the montage are a clip of the trio posing for photos on a tire swing, Lopez embracing her kids backstage, and them taking a selfie of them curled up in a restaurant booth.
The post also features photos of Emme during an onstage performance, Max dressed in a school uniform and the family at home and on vacation.
Lopez welcomed the twins with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony, in 2008.
In December 2024, she opened up about balancing her role as a mom with her busy life in an interview for British Vogue.
“Okay, there’s so much going on here. And I understood it. I mean, as a mom, you always want to put your best foot forward for your kids,” Lopez told the outlet. “You want to lift them up. That doesn’t stop you from being a human being who struggles.”
In another interview that month with Entertainment Weekly to promote her movie Unstoppable — in which she plays champion wrestler Anthony Robles’ mom Judy Robles — Lopez recalled how her experience as a single parent influenced the way she looked at her movie role.

“I’ve been a single mom at times in my life, and [I’ve asked,] ‘Am I enough for them?’ ” Lopez said. “And the truth is, all you need is really one good parent to love you.”

“You hear it in Anthony’s voice, and look what he’s been able to accomplish,” Lopez said of the wrestler. “That’s what the movie gave me: You are enough.”
Last year, the Kiss of the Spider Woman actress brought Emme to the star-studded musical premiere of the 10-time Oscar-nominated movie Wicked. She revealed her special guest in an Instagram Stories post a few days after the premiere, at which she walked the red carpet solo.
In the post, Lopez was seen smiling from ear to ear with Emme, who attended the event in a multi-colored top and dark-colored pants.
“Wicked!! We loved it ♀️,” she wrote.
