Bringing Up Bates’ Carlin Bates Is Pregnant, Expecting Baby No. 3 with Husband Evan Stewart

Bringing Up Bates star Carlin Bates and husband Evan Stewart are expanding their family!

On Sunday, Feb. 23, Bates, 26, and Stewart announced the exciting news that they are expecting another baby on Instagram. The happy couple shared pictures of their soon-to-be family of five dressed in matching blue jeans and white shirts holding up a sonogram strip.

In one photo, their two children, Zade Patrick, 2, and Layla Rae, 5, can be seen hugging each other with Layla holding up the sonogram.

“Stewart family of 5 coming September 2025 ” the couple wrote in the joint Instagram post. “The kids are already counting down the days and are so thrilled to welcome their new sibling. This sweet baby is already so loved, and we can’t wait to share this new chapter with all of you. Thank you for celebrating with us!”

Bates also shared a video with the soon-to-be family of five smiling as they posed with the sonogram strip. The video showcased the behind-the-scenes of their family photo shoot with HASANI’s “Navy Blue” playing in the background

“Baby no. 3 ,” the couple captioned the adorable video.

Bates and husband Stewart welcomed their second child, son Zade Patrick in March 2022, and their daughter Layla Rae in January 2020.

The pregnant mom of two shared the exciting baby news that she welcomed her baby boy on Instagram alongside a photo from the delivery room. The couple smiled at each other, nose-to-nose, as their little boy lay on Carlin’s chest.

“Welcome to the world, Baby Boy! ” she wrote. “Thank you all for the many messages and prayers you sent our way! We are in heaven…”
