Just eight weeks after welcoming her second child, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt was back on the road with President Donald Trump — and fans couldn’t believe what they were seeing.
Ever since Karoline Leavitt stepped into the White House spotlight, she has been one of the administration’s most talked-about figures.
The 28-year-old made her first major public appearance since giving birth to daughter Viviana “Vivi” Riccio on May 1, stepping off Air Force One in Reading, Pennsylvania, on June 23. While the visit was part of the president’s trip to a Mack Trucks facility, social media quickly shifted its attention to Leavitt herself.
Many commenters were stunned by how quickly she appeared to have bounced back after pregnancy.

”She doesn’t look like she just had a kid. Pretty amazing,” one person wrote.
Another simply commented, ”She looks AMAZING! Love her!”
A third added, ”Looking better than ever😍.”
Dressed in a cropped beige blazer over a white top, skinny black pants, and carrying a matching tote bag, Leavitt smiled as she greeted photographers after landing. Just weeks earlier, she had stepped away from the White House to focus on life with her growing family.
The appearance marked her official return to work after maternity leave, and judging by the reaction online, many people barely believed she had given birth less than two months earlier.

Praise continued pouring in across Facebook as well.
”She looks good too!” one supporter wrote.
Others added, ”She is outstanding! Glad she is back!” and ”She looks great!”
The overwhelmingly positive response stood out, particularly given the often-polarized reactions surrounding political figures.
Leavitt and her husband, real estate developer Nicholas Riccio, are now parents to two children; newborn daughter Viviana and son Nicholas ”Niko” Robert Riccio.
Only days after welcoming Vivi, Leavitt shared the first glimpse of her baby on Instagram, pairing the sweet family photo with a heartfelt message.
”On May 1st, Viviana aka ‘Vivi’ joined our family, and our hearts instantly exploded with love. 💕” she wrote.
She added that her daughter was ”perfect and healthy,” while revealing that big brother Niko was already adjusting well to his new role.
”We are enjoying every moment in our blissful newborn bubble,” Leavitt continued before thanking followers for their prayers throughout her pregnancy.
”I truly felt them throughout the entire experience,” she wrote. ”God is Good. 🙏”
The touching family photo quickly went viral, with many followers focusing not only on the newborn but also on Leavitt herself.
”She’s [sic] doesn’t look like she just gave birth. WOW! Beautiful Mom and daughter. Congratulations! 💝,” one admirer commented.
Another wrote, “She’s perfect! Congratulations 💕 I hope you’re feeling well, rest up Mama 💕”
”You look absolutely stunning!!!! 😍,” another follower added.
Leavitt has often spoken candidly about balancing motherhood with one of the most demanding jobs in American politics.

After becoming the youngest White House press secretary in history following President Trump’s 2024 election victory, she has repeatedly emphasized that family remains her top priority despite her high-profile role.
”There is no greater blessing than motherhood. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise 🤍,” she wrote while sharing photos from her second pregnancy.
She has also been open about the emotional challenges of returning to work after welcoming her first child.
”Leaving the baby every day to go to work, it does break your heart. It’s incredibly challenging emotionally, physically, spiritually,” Leavitt previously admitted.
Still, she said she never questioned her decision to continue serving.
”It would have been a lot easier for me to respectfully decline this job offer and enjoy this past year in the peace and comfort of my previous job,” she explained.
Instead, Leavitt leaned heavily on her support system, including her husband, parents, and close friends, as she navigated both motherhood and public service
During her maternity leave, several senior administration officials — including Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio — filled in at White House press briefings.
Now, just eight weeks after giving birth again, she’s back behind the scenes of the Trump administration, and judging by the flood of comments online, many fans are just as impressed by her return to work as they are by how she looks doing it.
